Problem with iCam servers?
« on: August 02, 2013, 03:58:43 PM »
I've had various stretches of time today where I could not connect to my iCam server (broker error).  When I would try to go to skjm.com, the domain also seemed to be unavailable.  Were there some outages today?  Is there a way to verify in the future if it's a problem on your end or mine?

Yes, unfortunately our web hosting / DNS provider has been dealing with a significant outage today. Here is a status link that they provided for the outage: http://gtr.bz/nzQLc

Users have been able to contact us through Facebook and Twitter, but our e-mail and web servers have been going up and down throughout the day.

To answer your last question, you can use a site such as www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com to check to see if a web server is still up.  That won't work for the Broker Server since it isn't a web server, but it can be helpful if you're unable to connect to the skjm.com website.
