ipCam Support / No sound from iPhone and iPad
« on: April 08, 2013, 04:03:44 PM »
I downloaded iCamSource on my iMac (Mountain Lion) and used it to configure my iPhone4 and iPad2 using ipCam to use as webcams in my home.  Image comes through fine on my iMac. However, I have no sound coming from the iPad and iPhone to the iMac.

iPhone:  Volume is turned up all the way and not muted. "Ringer" does not show.
iPad: Lock rotation is off and mute is checked.  Volume turned up all the way
Audio button on 1pCam is in the "on" position for both devices.

The url I am using is something like this:
http://xxx.xxx.x.xxx/video.mjpg

Could this be a listening port issue?  Please advise as I can't figure this out.

Appreciate your help!

iCam Support / iCamSource won't open - Solved
« on: April 08, 2013, 03:48:40 PM »
Restarted everything and found the little icon!  Sorry to be a bother!
I downloaded iCamSource on my iMac and used it to configure my iPhone and iPad using ipCam to use as webcams in my home.  All worked well (except no sound... another topic).  I closed the program to get some lunch.  Came back and it won't open.  I read on forum ...
"It sounds like the iCamSource window may be hidden. When you close the iCamSource window, the iCamSource program still runs in the background. If the iCamSource window is hidden, there will be a small iCamSource icon in the Menubar(Mac) or System Tray (Windows). The icon is a small version of the iCam icon (camera lens). From this icon, you can stop, start, or quit iCamSource. If you select "Preferences" it will display the iCamSource window."

I don't even have the "small icon" on my MenuBar or anywhere on my desktop.  It will not open from finder either.  I must shut down and reboot my whole computer to get it to open.  There must be a better way!
