iCam Support / wifi problem, probably proxy
« on: November 30, 2009, 03:22:12 PM »
hello,

I've noticed a problem with my university wifi: unlike other apps, icam doesn't seem to be using the authenticated proxy in the wifi settings

what can I do?

sorry for the late reply, I've tried with my own wifi and my neighbor's, same result...
the frame rate in the icamsource preferences window is considerably higher...

Hi,

me too, would be great if the icamsource recorded the video when motion is detected... and than stream it to the iphone...

maybe with h264 or better compression and a fast server running icamsource wouldn't it be possible? at least as an option. i have a quadcore system and i don't mind if it takes too much cpu load to stream a smooth video.

ps: i'm italian, i'm sorry for my english... i hope my english is clear enough.

I've just tried ivid and i think it would be awesome to have icam as smooth as ivid... do you think it's possible?

PS: congrats for the great work and support ;)

Hi, can you add an option to select the framerate? So we can choose the right one depending on our system/bandwidth?
