USB Camera hangs

Hi

I'm running iCamSource 2.1.6 with both a wi-fi cam and a USB cam on a PC. The wi-fi cam seems very stable however the USB hangs at least daily. As soon as I open iCamSource preferences and click on the USB cam, the camera generally unfreezes however at times I have to exit iCamSource and reload. The PC has a screen saver and is always powered. Any suggestions please?

Is the USB camera plugged into a USB hub or extension cable?  If so, please try plugging it directly into the computer.

Also, make sure that the webcam drivers are up to date and that Windows is fully updated through Windows Update.
