If you are plugging a router into your VoIP system device you are going to want to setup your router in "bridge" mode where it is essentially extending the internal network that is being creating by your VoIP system instead of creating its own separate one.

It actually differs from router to router, so your best bet would be either to visit the manufacturer's support pages or perhaps Googling your router's make and model and the word "bridge".

What is the make and model of your router?

Are you having a problem with the phone not connecting to a WiFi network, or are you having problems with iCam?
