: JPEG on Motion
: m.e.page July 21, 2009, 12:23:24 PM
First off, let me say iCam and the new push app rock; absolutely flawless and I'm seeing really good uptime on iCamSource... Even on my Windoze box :)

Has there been any thought into being able to send a JPEG via email on motion? Perhaps even a way to "review" frames where movement is detected via the iPhone and/or web interface? One of my cameras is in a narrow view area and by the time I get the notification and launch the app (especially on Edge), I'm not sure what caused the motion.

Oh yeah, while you're at it, a Linux port of iCamSource would be cool, even if it only supported IP cams to start.

Thanks for the great feedback. :)

Having the iCamSource either record or e-mail an image on motion has been requested in the past and is currently on our list of potential features to implement in the future. (As has a Linux client.) :)

Thanks again for your suggestions!
