What you all have an app without a Forum! LOL...I didn't know and I'll have to try it out. For guys with such great app support with iCam, I am surprised. But how much support can you need for a drink app.
Anyone have an idea why I might be seeing two of one of my cameras? My front door camera shows up twice on iCam. It is only setup once in iCamSource. All the other cameras only show up once. I run 6 cameras. Oh one of the cameras is down right now and it is still setup in iCamSource.
Does anyone have the Orbit AF and could help me? The camera picture looks great as long as there is not any movement. When there is movement the picture is blurry and the person cannot be made out. Is there a way to slow the frame rate down on Logitech WebCams? Does anyone else have this same issue?
I don't know if anyone else has this issue, but when I play back an event when I'm on my network it moves so fast that I can't get a good look at people or what is happening. It is almost a blur. However on 4G it plays back at a steady rate. I know that I can view it slower by using the manual process using the arrows, but it would seem that a play back speed could be set for viewing motion events.
I thought I remember reading in a post that someone had stated they could tell how many individuals were connected or able to view their cameras. I really liked that idea. Since the security of this type of system is all based on the user name and password, how can I tell that my user name and password are unique enough that no one else is looking. Further can their be away to show how many users have access or for that matter a warning message if the number allotted is exceeded?
There are some of us who actually enjoy testing new beta versions for you. If you could alert the few of us that you have a new beta version by taking our e-mail address or opening a general topic that we can all be notified of a new beta version, that would be nice.
If someone could help me on if I should buy the Foscam FI8910W (Black) Wireless N IP Camera? I have multiple cameras configured of two types;
Cisco-Linksys Wireless-N WVC80N: It provides me a picture that is 320x240 with 96 dpi and bit depth of 24
Airlink101 AICN777W It provides me a picture that is 640x480 with 96 dpi and bit depth of 24
I love the WVC80N picture much better but the Airlink I can get audio and move the camera.
If anyone has the Foscam FI8910W (Black) Wireless N IP Camera and can tell me what the quality of the picture is before I make this purchase I would appreciate it.
Today at work we received a notice from our driveway camera. We looked at the live camera image to notice a Honda SUV had parked in our driveway. After about 15 minutes of scoping our place out, one of the individuals got out and proceeded to the backyard and was caught by our backyard camera. I immediately called our neighborhood security and they proceeded to our house. We think that the dog in the back yard might have scared the intruder and he left immediately. Police were called and pictures of the vehicle and the individual were noted and the police are investigating......The police dispatchers, police officers and security patrol were all raving about the iCam and how it caught the individuals every movement from beginning to end. I just set the camera too high to make out clearly the license plate in the drive way. OUTFREAKING STANDING iCam!

P.S. How do I insert the images for your viewing pleasure of the culprit?
I just purchased Norton 360 2012 Version 6.1.2.10 and have been unable to view iCam over 3G. Has anyone else experienced difficulties? Your help is appreciated...
I had once suggested that a patrol mode could be incorporated into iCam. One that would have presets for the camera to move ever so often and check if there is movement. Today I got another idea. I had left my gate locked to the backyard and today a meter reader had come to the front door and rang the doorbell. I received the notification and opened up iCam on my iPhone and saw him there waiting for someone to answer the door. I showed a friend in my office at the time and had accidently moved the camera down one step handing him the phone. The gentlemen left and returned to the front door with a notice holding it over his head aimed at the camera. We laughed so hard and my friend said wouldn't it be nice if you could have the camera move slightly down and back automatically on motion detection? It would alert the individual they are being watched. We laughed and I told him I was putting in the suggestion.
I feel bad I haven't tested this in recent upgrades, but I have an AirLink 101 777w. I had attached an external speaker to the AirLink camera and I not only could hear Audio but could transmit audio from my iPhone to the camera. The external speaker runs off a single AA battery, so it often goes dead pretty quick. I had used it for entertainment purposes only. The battery in it has been dead for awhile and tonight I replaced it to show some friends, but to my dismay it no longer works. I set this up soon after you provided support for audio on the AirLink cameras. Has something changed? I did check my settings and my camera is set to enable audio.
Some of these ideas have already come up but I wanted to give my two cents on extra features for the future.
1. When you open iCamSource should it not automatically open rather than just running/minimized in the taskbar? 2. Just like on your phone could you have a full screen mode on the computer to view your cameras? I have my computer hooked to the TV in the bedroom. It would be nice to view the cameras just like on the phone app. 3. Expanding on the above, adding sound to the computer as well so you could hear as well as watch the video. 4. All the Airlink cameras have a "Patrol Mode." This would be an awesome addition to all cameras that are Pan-Tilt. 5. Airlink has a night vision mode it would be nice to be able to engage that feature as well. 6. For the home computer, it would also be nice to have the option of an audio notification of motion.
