iCam Support / Re: Flip/ Rotate Cam Image function?

found out that the web based utility software has a few extra buttons once u open it under IExplore in my virtual environment on mac.  If u open the web based utility over safari, these extra buttons are missing.

however, .. the flip/ rotate function is still only available if u use the software utility and view only over the software utility.  iCam will not get the changed (flip'd/ rotate image) transferred because its only for the link sys specific utility software.

this sucks. .. so now, I can build me a specific mount to have the camera mounted from the top of the window frame but the camera is still in original position and not rotated 180 degrees.

or

a different surveillance software that support flip rotate function.

I've downloaded the Utility Software since it was not on the original setup disk.  I think thats the confusion.  then I have a Mac and the utility software is only for PC.  So, I have to setup and use my virtual environment for right now and power up my PC, the one that is turned off for a good while... lol

thx for the info

iCam Support / Flip/ Rotate Cam Image function?
« on: September 19, 2011, 12:39:26 PM »
Hello,
I have a Cisco Linksys Wireless-N camera and I mounted it upside down in the window frame.  Cisco Linksys build in application does not give me the option to rotate the image.  cna iCam build in this feature for future updates, please.  If not then I have consider to get a different product.  As I expand my Wireless cameras, I will most likely mount them from the ceiling or window frame because this is pretty convenient.  I'm sure I'm not the only user with this request.

or are there any options I can add to get this feature? Thanks

Hello,
Please Post Your Cam ScreenShots and Note the Type Of IP Camera Model.  There are a few out there and it is hard to find images of these IP Cameras when used over iCAM.  Thanks
