iCam Support / getting funky picture from icam source, any help available?

yipes.  suggestions?  is this webcam I'm trying to use too cheap/crappy? I can view it fine w/ its own software (it's a 'hue' camera; picked it up on a wootoff a couple weeks ago for like $10, www.huehd.com
