iCamWeb ClassNotFoundException
« on: March 28, 2013, 08:18:10 AM »
Hello,

I am trying to get iCamWeb to login, after I enter my username and password I get to a loading page. I then see an error on the page. After clicking on the error a popup states that there has been ClassNotFoundException - iCamApplet.class.

I am using IE but have also tried in Chrome and had the same issue.

Does anyone know how to work around this?

iCamWeb uses a Java applet to connect to iCamSource, so Java must be installed on the computer.

What else could cause the ClassNotFoundException? I have the most current version of Java installed on both my desktop at home and my desktop at work; however, iCamWeb only works on my desktop at home. I have made sure my proxy settings are the same at work as they are at home. Any other ideas? Could it be a firewall issue?

Please send a screenshot of the error to support@skjm.com. Also, are what web browser are you currently using?
