Hi,
I have been using icamsource for a couple years for monitoring my front porch. I am running a foscam FI8918W camera via wifi to my iMac running mountain lion.

The images that are captured and displayed on iCAM seem to be captured at about 1fps. Is it possible to capture full motion video or at least 15fps for the motion capture? Is this a function of the camera or icamsource?

Thanks,
Derrick

Hi
I am running iCamSource 2.4.4 Beta on my iMac w/Lion 10.7.2 and connecting via my iPhone4S running iCam 2.1.1 with Foscam IP camera
I can view the camera from my iPhone while on the same network and when on 3G connection away from local network, until my iMac goes into power save/sleep mode. In prior versions of iCamSource w/Snow Leopard this was not an issue. I thought that iCamSource's constant reading of the video stream from my IP camera, it would keep the iMac from going into sleep mode (the way it use to). Are you encountering this with other Lion installations?

Thanks,
Derrick

iCam Support / Feature clarification/request

Hi,
Just downloaded and setup on my mac w/foscam ip camera. Everything working good.
I am familiar with similar motion sensing from Linux/Motion software in the past. Are there any plans or thoughts to reduce bandwidth requirements between the ip camera and pc/Mac by leveraging motion sensing capabilities in the device instead of streaming all video to the pc/Mac and comparing frames? Would be great to only capture stream when either live viewing or when motion is detected.

Thanks for your time and for supporting this great product.
