I have:
Mac ppc dual core and pc quad core 4gb
4 Airlink 101 - 747W wifi cameras
apple airport extreme router on a gigabyte network
iphone
I can get 1 camera to work w/o any problems soon as I add anymore 2,3,4 then when viewing from iphone (either wifi or 3G) they work for a little while then everything freezes up. I have tried this on both the mac and pc, when I check I usually get back an error on the computer saying cannot connect.
I have all the cameras added with static ip's and included in the airport extreme as always allow connection.
any help would be great
thanks

What's the exact error message you're seeing on the computer?
-
401 - Webcam Authorization Failure
Make sure that the Webcam Login and Password are correct and try again.
Contact support@skjm.com with the make and model of your network webcam for more detail
which is strange as all the cameras are same un/pw and they are working for many hours before it pops up. yesterday I had 3 working for 6 hours then one froze and the another froze. I never am able to get 4 to stay online at the same time. sometimes I get the erro MJPEG error and says the URL is wrong.
I am using the http://xxx.xxx.x.xxx/cgi/mjpg/mjpeg.cgi which is the only one that seems to somewhat work.
thanks

There is a new version of iCamSource available that handles network camera errors differently. Hopefully it will resolve your problem.
You can get the new version of iCamSource here: http://skjm.com/icam/iCamSource2.1.2.dmg
In the new version, the error messages for network cameras are displayed underneath the preview window for the camera and they no longer stop the other cameras.

thanks. installed new version and here is the error code under some of the cams
"your network ip camera could not be connected to please make sure cam url contains correct network address for your cam"
am using the http://xxx.xxx.x.xxx/cgi/mjpg/mjpeg.cgi
it does not happen on all of them just different ones at different times
thx

Same problem I'm having. That's why I suggested adding a retry if a failure occurred due to a web authentication error.
-
another error just popped up as well.
Cannot find JPEG data. Your network IP cam may not be supported. please click the ? button to verify the camera URL for your network IP camera.

mrz500 - Do you still see real-time video from that camera when the error is displayed, or does it freeze?
If you're seeing those errors intermittently, it might indicate a poor connection between the computer and the camera. That could be due to poor Wi-Fi signal or the camera might need to be rebooted.

I now can have 3 that seems to always be up but the 4th seems to freeze and the one that freeze changes so it not always the same camera. then I do need to reboot it. I have checked the signal quality at all the areas and signal strength ranges between 75-96%
so not sure what is causing one to randomly freeze where it would need rebooted

How often are the cameras freezing?
We have had to reboot our Airlink cameras every once in a while, but it hasn't been very often

new version seems better and when one has frozen then it then seems to recover after several hours.
