iCam Support / Re: 2 computers, 2 webcams
« on: June 21, 2010, 08:10:26 AM »
I have two cameras on to different computers. One is vista the other is xp. On 3G one camera will come in, then i'll turn the app off and back on Again and the other camera  will come in. Never both at the same time. Why would it jump from one camera to the other ? This isnt a source problem . Why would port forwrding help this if both cameras are getting through the system? I thought port forwarding was only for complicated router systems with tough security systems!! Seems like a flaw in design to me. Is anyone getting away with two compters with two cameras with two different programs like xp and vista or are all the suggessful ones using vista. Ive been reading and sounds like most everyone with a problem hhas xp.

Well im not an idiot. I have the computer set so that it never hibernates or shuts down so thats not it. I had two computers working fine on Wifi and 3g for 3 days and now i get a source message that no id and password is in system or something like that. As far as being redundant , looks like a lot of redundancy going on with all the complaints. I simply figured it would be more visible to post in the main forum. No posts should be deleted unless vulgar.

You may think you have all the answers covered here in your little forum but to just delete questions because you think they have been answered or they're stupid is just wrong. Shame on you and you never did tell me why it worked and then stopped.  If it was one of these problems already covered it would never have worked. Its junk and im telling the world on utube. One of these days someone is going to figure out hoe to sue someone for false advertisement. Lets see how fast you delete this one.

Network / IP Camera Compatibility / no sources found message

Everything was working fine until this morning then I get an error message that there are currently no running icamsources associated with your existing login and password. I am at home now and still cannot get it to work. This is a great idea but if it is this much trouble after a week I wonder if it's worth it. I had to use the same id and password to get in this forum and it worked. On the computer Icamsource is showing that it not connected. I even redownloaded it.  HELP!!!!
