Icam not working on my New Mac
« on: October 20, 2010, 09:22:55 AM »
Good Morning everyone. My PC shot craps, so I decided to try my luck at a Mac. I installed Icam source on the mac, and video comes right up, but when I try and log in on my Iphone, it says no sources available. I confirmed that my log in and password are the same multiple times. The same problem persist. It still works fine viewing my PC laptop as well as my work PC. Any ideas? I am using the built in web cam.
Thanks
Ron

There are two potential causes for the No Sources Found error:

1) The login and password on the iCamSource and iCam do not match. (Please note that they are both case sensitive.)
2) The iCamSource on the computer is unable to communicate with the iCam Broker Server.

If you have made sure that the computer's firewall software is "allowing" the iCamSource to communicate with the Internet, then the next step is to go to http://whatismyipaddress.com/ on the computer running iCamSource and send an e-mail with the IP address to support@skjm.com so that I can further troubleshoot the problem.  Please refer to this forum thread in your email.
