If you are having trouble downloading that file to your computer, do you perhaps have some sort of security software installed that might be preventing you from downloading executables? You seem to be having trouble downloading a file from our web server which thousands of other users have been able to do, so it must be some specific setting on your network or computer. Have you perhaps tried a different web browser?

drasticplastic - Error Code 35 indicates that the iCamSource had a problem receiving audio from the audio device you selected. Usually the fix for this is to first try to reboot, and if that doesn't fix it, to download and install the latest drivers for the audio device you are selecting.

What devices are you choosing in the Video and Audio drop-downs?

terry - It sounds like there is an issue with the video capture, possibly with the drivers for your webcam. Have you made sure that you currently have the latest drivers for your webcam installed and that you have tried rebooting your computer?

A video of what is happening would be helpful, thanks. :)

Hi!  I love the software and the iphone app!  I use it almost everyday!  I was curious if there was an 'ad free' version when you tap the cam and it goes into full screen mod.  Is this offered???  Thanks much and keep up the good work!!!

terry - When you click the Start button in the iCamSource, does the video from the camera show up in the iCamSource window? Have you tried selecting a different audio source (if available) to see if that has any effect?

terry - It sounds like the iCamSource is crashing not when you first run it, not when you press the Start button, but when you attempt to connect to it with iCam ... Is that correct?

What is the make and model of your webcam, and what are the items that you are choosing from the Audio and Video drop-down lists?

Joe - Thanks for letting us know about that typo. :)

As for what's next, we're currently in a sort of "R&D" mode right now, tossing a few things at the wall, seeing what sticks. Recording is one of the things that we're considering, but we don't want to just slap it in there without fully thinking it through first.

cedoch - What version of the iCamSource are you running, Windows or Mac? Is it version 1.1.1?

Helen - Are you trying to run both the iCamSource and iChat at the same time? This can cause a problem as both of the programs are "fighting" for control of your webcam.
