Please recommend up to four cameras that I can use that is not to costly? I want one for the living room, one by the terrace where he sits, the kitchen and his room?

iCamSource does have video-only support for Wi-Fi cameras that output MJPEG formatted data. Cameras by Axis, Panasonic, and Canon have been known to work well, but they can be somewhat expensive.
We also own and use the WiFi cameras listed below. They're relatively inexpensive:
Linksys WVC54GCA - http://www.linksysbycisco.com/US/en/products/WVC54GCA
AirLink101 SkyIPCam500W - http://www.airlink101.com/products/aicn500w.php

I noticed the last camera there has pan-tilt control. Can you control that withint ICam IPhone app? My wife and I have been looking for a way to replace our baby monitor and it would be cool to have pan-tilt.

iCam doesn't currently have the ability to control PTZ cameras.

I noticed the date on this post as 2010. Has work been done to be able to control pan tilt cameras?
-
Work is being done on Pan/Tilt options, but we do not have any immediate plans to release these features.
