Hi! I have an iMac running Lion and it has a built-in cam and microphone. It worked well with iCamSource.
I just installed iCamSource Pro and now it's not detecting audio at all.
The sounds will not turn green in the "detection" menu but the camera works perfectly fine.
I do have port forwarding going on but I know that won't matter much if the software isn't capturing the audio from the internal mic which what appears to be the case.
Oh, and I did purchase the $9.99 service.
Please help. Thanks!

Are you running iCam Pro on an iPhone. If so, when you are zoomed in and you turn your iPhone’s volume all the way up using the buttons on the side of your phone, does it say "Ringer" under the volume adjustment icon that appears on the iPhone’s screen?
Also, is the Sound Detection turned all the way up to “More Sensitive”?

I am running iCam Pro on my iPhone 5s. When it is zoomed in, my volume is all the way up on the phone and it says "volume" not "ringer".
The Sound Detection is not turned all the way up, but I did test it all the way up and no sound was picked up. I did notice that on my computer on iCamSource Pro the indicator which lights up green when motion and/or sound are detected functions perfect for the motion. For the sound no matter what noise or how loudly I make a noise, it never turns green. When I turn the sensitivity all the way up on the sound, the indicator stays green and still on my iPhone, no sound.

What entries show up in the Audio Source drop-down list in iCamSource and which entry do you currently have selected?
-
1 - Built-In Input
2 - LogMeInSoundDriver
3 - Built-In Microphone
4 - No-Audio
The selected one is #3

Please check the Activity Monitor Utility to see if the original iCamSource program is running while you are trying to run iCamSource Pro. It’s possible that the programs are fighting over accessing the microphone if they’re both running at the same time.

I also have the exact same issue with the same setup. No audio no matter how high the volume is turned up. Works fine with iCamsource. I uninstalled it so it doesn't interfere with the Pro version. Was a solution found?

Thank you for your post, and I am sorry that you are having problems.
Please reboot your computer and run this test version of iCamSource Pro to see if it has any effect on the behavior:
http://skjm.com/icampro/iCamSourcePro1.0.2StereoFix.exe
You can run the executable from any folder.

Hi,
They are not both running. I shut down any program which may be competing for the mic access earlier and that didn't resolve it.
The text fix is an .exe binary. I need one for a mac.
Thanks!

I apologize for the confusion.
When you are zoomed in and you turn your iPhone’s volume all the way up using the buttons on the side of your phone, does it say "Ringer" under the volume adjustment icon that appears on the iPhone’s screen?
Please make sure the Built-In Mic is selected in your Mac’s System Preferences > Sound > Input settings and that the sound meter in System Preferences shows that the mic is working properly.
Also, Please let me know what options appear in the Audio drop-down menu.
