I also copied the preference file of com.skjm.icam.plist (username and password is in that file) via iExplorer from other iPhone iOS7 to this iOS8. It still won't use the file for login. Seems something to do with flipping screen horizontally  as seen on iOS 7.

Are you able to duplicate the problem?

Hi,

I am an official beta tester of iOS 8 and did the clean install. There is a prompt "LOGIN REQUIRED" asking me to login and I click OK, but got circular waiting icon without seeing to type username and password. Killed app and tried again. Even reinstall did not help.

Is there work around?

Maybe time for you to get beta copy of iOS 8 and work with it? If you do not plan to do this, I guess I have to go back to 7.x IOS just because of this app issue. I need home security. Sigh. :-X

I kept getting UDP timeout errors on 3 different networks. But my native client on iPhone works fine.

Yes I have Java updated and allowed it.

It says CONNECTING... for about 15 seconds then error comes up saying:

Broker Connection Error

Your network may be preventing you from making
a UDP connection to the iCam Broker Server.

My home router is forwarding 12100 - 12150 UDP to iCamSource on PC. Never had problems until now.

Please test iCamWeb using your account on your computer outside of iCamSource network.

Remember my iPhone client works fine. Only the web part isn't working now.

Hi,

Thanks for the recent release of iOS and Windows iCam. Looks good.

I continue to experience missed or got false events of "X" boxes in Motion Detection Zones. I use Windows on server and noticed that the video screen is not in full size in whole box. Usually 3/4 of box. So, the bug may be exists for this reason for not lining up ignore areas.

Can you make the video to be full sized in the box so the individual boxes can be properly monitored or ignored?

Actually it the opposite. On iPhone 5 I saw fluid movement on wifi in split videos. Great!

On ipad 3 with wifi connection, it's about 1 FPS.

Maybe a bug if using fast processor like iPhone 5? Don't fix this!

Apple should allow any FPS speed on wifi.

I have been using your software for few years. Loved it.

One discovery: On iOS device, if showing all videos (4 cameras in my case) on one screen, the frames per seconds jump up to video like which is about 10 to 15 pictures per second. It helps a lot for seeing people walking around etc.

If zoomed to one video, it goes to 1 frames per second.

Why different?

Is there an option to use high frames per second just like I mentioned? I think there is trade off between full resolution in one camera full screen vs. lower resolution/high FPS?

Bottom line: We would like to see live video with high FPS in single camera view. Its possible already.

Well. The DELETE ALL does not work in latest iOS 6 build. Only per event deleting works. Please fix them. I have thousand of events wanted to be deleted.

Hi,

I have iOS 6 beta on both iPad and Iphone. Two bugs were found and quite annoying. 

1) it asks for rating everytime I use the app. I tried all 3 buttons and it still asks next time.

2) it will not delete photos even with DELETE ALL button. After clicking it, the list of events are still there.  I had to borrow my wife's Iphone 5.1.1 and delete them.

Any plans to fix them? If not, you are forcing me to go back to 5.1.1 just for the icam bugs. :(

Same here. Thought it was my servers. But both have been restarted with same UDP errors. I think something wrong with SKJM server that may give incorrect IP address of our servers to cause this error.

Hopefully it will be fixed today there.
