Advanced Settings

Looking for help using iCam Pro with the iCamSource Pro for Mac or Windows?

• The Options > Advanced > Auto-Config Router switch should only be enabled if you are having problems connecting to your iCamSource Mobile when your iOS (iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad) device running iCam Pro is connected via EDGE/3G/4G/LTE or a different WiFi network, but you are able to connect via the same local WiFi network. Please refer to the iCam Pro Troubleshooting section for more information.
• The Options > Advanced > Port Forwarding setting is used when configuring your router to forward a range of ports to the device running the iCamSource Mobile. There is more information about port forwarding configuration here: Port Forwarding Info
• The Options > Advanced > Disable LAN-Only Discovery setting disables the functionality that allows iCam Pro to connect to local iCamSource Mobiles without an Internet connection. Disabling LAN-Only Discovery should only be used for troubleshooting purposes, and should generally be left unchecked.
