iCamWeb won't connect

I saw an old 2011 topic on this but here's a new one. On a Mac 10.12.5 on both Safari and Firefox but after login it says "connecting" for over a minute but never connects. I switched to Firefox and was told to update Java, which I did, but then I got this:
Your connection is not secure

The owner of has configured their website improperly. To protect your information from being stolen, Firefox has not connected to this website.

Safari still does the eternal connection thing. iCamWeb hasn't worked for me for over a year now, several different computers and multiple OS. Ugh!

It looks like the latest versions of both Chrome and Firefox no longer support Java plug-ins, so it looks like iCamWeb will only function with older versions of those web browsers.

As for Safari, you can still connect using iCamWeb by adding as a site exception:
