Possible bug in 2.8: Motion Detection Zones
« on: September 15, 2015, 11:35:05 AM »
ICAM Version 2.8 (not Pro). I tried them all:

1) Deleted registry tree of HCU\SOFTWARE\SKJM, LLC in regedit32.exe.
2) Tested in both Win 7 64 bit & Win 10 64 bit.
3) Created just one camera with URL of: http://192.168.1.28/video/mjpg.cgi with account infos.
4) Created 3x3 grid size (also 2x2). And disabled them all zones.
5) I always get alerted of passing cars in top view of camera.

The Motion Detection Zones are not working. It is always detected regardless of zone settings. Maybe it has to do with the stretched videos fix recently? (In the past, with small videos, we get black bars on bottom and right side of video boxes).

Very annoyed of passing cars alerting me too much. >:(

Please try this test version:

http://skjm.com/icam/iCamSource2.8.exe

It's the program executable, not an installer, so you can place the file anywhere and double click it to launch the program.

Been running that test version for 4 hours. Looks great. No passing cars has been detected but detected human walking in desired zone worked as intended.

Did you find a bug in the release version?

The fix will be included in the next update. In the meantime, you can use the test version, it's a fully functional version of iCamSource.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.
