Newbie needs help connecting one Mac's built-in to another
« on: June 15, 2012, 04:42:06 PM »
Hi!  I work nights and would like to keep an eye on my puppy while my fiance is out of town.  I had my macbook pro set up last night and it worked great but I'd like to add my fiance's desktop Mac to this system.  I can't figure out how to link his camera to my iCamSource.  Is there a way to do this without any other special equipment?  The only other thing I can think of is to have a separate account on his computer and switch back and forth between the accounts.

We also have a Logitech QuickCam Communicate STX webcam but I can't get iCamSource to pick that up either.

Please let me know what my options are! Thank you :)

Download iCamSource to his computer. You can view multiple cameras from different computers simultaneously if you use the exact same login and password for all of the cameras.  When you use that same login/password in iCam on your iPhone, it will show all of the cameras that are using that exact login/password.
