Unwanted video popup when Remotely connecting to PC
« on: August 27, 2010, 10:20:58 AM »
Hi,

There seems to be a bug on the widows version of the icamsource software (stable version linked to in support page).

Whenever i remotely connect to the xp machine running the icamsource (using iteleport or another PC using VNC), the icamsource pops up a video window showing the camera stream on the remote computer. This window can only be turned off by exiting the icamsource and restarting it. Even then it pops up again when I close the remote VNC connection.

If you're referring to the ActiveMovie window, that bug shouldn't show up anymore in the new Beta iCamSource 2.0 because it doesn't use ActiveMovie to render the webcam video.

The new iCamSource 2.0 Beta is available here: http://skjm.com/forum/index.php?topic=958.0

Acknowleged and confirmed. :D
Version 2.0 does not have this bug.
Thanks.
