I don't know if Foscam has it, but in the AirLink cameras there is a setup for the number of steps Pan/Tilt moves. This then makes movement faster. I think that presets would be awesome and then a way to engage the presets to move and cycle through every so often. Then finally the motion sensing would be disabled for a few seconds during the movement of the camera.
I thought I remember reading in a post that someone had stated they could tell how many individuals were connected or able to view their cameras. I really liked that idea. Since the security of this type of system is all based on the user name and password, how can I tell that my user name and password are unique enough that no one else is looking. Further can their be away to show how many users have access or for that matter a warning message if the number allotted is exceeded?
There are some of us who actually enjoy testing new beta versions for you. If you could alert the few of us that you have a new beta version by taking our e-mail address or opening a general topic that we can all be notified of a new beta version, that would be nice.
If someone could help me on if I should buy the Foscam FI8910W (Black) Wireless N IP Camera? I have multiple cameras configured of two types;
Cisco-Linksys Wireless-N WVC80N: It provides me a picture that is 320x240 with 96 dpi and bit depth of 24
Airlink101 AICN777W It provides me a picture that is 640x480 with 96 dpi and bit depth of 24
I love the WVC80N picture much better but the Airlink I can get audio and move the camera.
If anyone has the Foscam FI8910W (Black) Wireless N IP Camera and can tell me what the quality of the picture is before I make this purchase I would appreciate it.
They have often suggested using Dropbox. I just started using it recently and I have been very impressed. It is discussed any many forums. Sorry you have missed it. Oh and there is a good app as well to access it from your phone as well. Bonus: I keep it cleared up daily so it is free for me.
I had not seen any posts from anyone, so I just wanted to state that I have not had any unexpected issues or crashes. All has gone well so far. I downloaded and have ran this BETA version since the evening of 25 June.
I have to say I love this APP!!! Now there is no notification for the stray bird that flies across the camera view in one frame. No notification of a shadow change. Only a notification after whatever I set the frame setting at.... The only thing that would make that better is if I could set it in the scheduler tab, but awesome addition.

Just asking...will the notificiations be seperate for each camera? The reason is that like the individual was saying above he wanted no delays. My inside cameras can be immediate without delays and the outside cameras can wait a little bit for the trim logic.
I haven't had any issues other than I still get the occasional image set below the threshold. An example is the threshold is set to 2 and there is a recording with 1 image displayed in the motion events folder. It is rare but it does occur. What is the time frame for the deletion of images? That might explain why I see them occasionally and that I am alerted to the image. Therefore I may be going in too quickly to view.
All appears to be functioning as you anticipated thus far. It would actually be great if it were tied into the push notifications so that I did not get signaled on a shadow change that contained one frame. I would just like to say that I am very pleased with how much you support the app and are constantly striving to improve it. Thanks for all your continuing efforts and I will be sending yet another contribution.
