iCam Support / Version 2.4.2

I upgraded to Version 2.4.2 from 2.4.1. I wasn't having any issues before, but now I am getting a Runtime error. The error says Specifically;

Microsoft C++ Runtime Library

Runtime Error!

Program C:\Program Files\iCamSource\iCamSource.exe

The application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an
unusual way.

Please contact the application's support team for more information.

This happens everytime. I have restarted the computer several times and I am running Microsoft Vista.

Please help....

iFarkle Support / Three Pairs

Today I was playing iFarkle with my friend and she rolled on her first roll: 4 sixes and 2 fours. I'm not sure of my rules but I believe that should only be 1200 Points. Instead it let her select the two fours and treat the hand as three pairs and give her 1500 points. Worse yet she was able to roll all six dice again.

I used to have saved to my internet favorites a link to a page SKJM had where you could put in the ip address of the camera and it would show all the different possible address combinations and which one's provided a picture. I found that quite useful and when I help friends setup their iCam, I don't always have that address with me. Could you please post that on either your support page or as you did with the help button on iCamSource?

iCam Support / iCamSource Crashes

Every once in a while my iCamSource crashes. It is rare, but I think I've determined what it is that causes this... I reset my router by turning off the power from time to time. My Airlink camera doesn't always connect back to the router unless I cycle it's power as well. When the camera is not linked and the iCamSource does not connect, the error occurs, Your network camera cannot be connected to....When this occurs the iCamSource will crash at some point. I've tested this several times now and it happens everytime. If all the cameras are linked with no errors it will not crash. Is there a way to improve the stability even if a camera cannot connect for some reason?

iCam Support / Auto-Start

I wasn't sure if anyone was seeing the same issue, if it is even a real issue. When I have auto-start checked and I open iCamSource, it says Connecting..... If I stop it and restart it, iCamSource then says Connect to Server. This happens everytime. There doesn't ever seem to be any issues when it just says Connecting....., but was wondering if it something in my setup.

iCam Support / UPnP May Not be Enabled

Just a note. I am spreading my six cameras between two computers to optimize camera performance. One computer is directly connected to the modem and the other is connected wirelessly. The computer that is directly connected has a UPnP Success message once I start iCamSource. The wireless computer gets a UPnP May Not be Enabled message. My modem is UPnP enabled.

Any Suggestions? Oh and I am using the Beta version 2.3.

iCam Support / SkyIPCam 777W

I have the SkyIPCam 777w camera and it's not half bad for night vision and looking remotely. There is an issue however that it only pics up about half the images generated by the motion detection that my other cameras pickup. I may get three images of someone walking around my front door when spending about 10 seconds wandering through. This is either recorded, looking at it through the PC or on the iPhone. Where as someone spending the same amount of time around my driveway I get 8-10 images. The camera I have pointed at my driveway is the WVC80N camera. I have set the better frame rate to the max to try to pickup more images on the 777, but to no avail.
Airlink has an app to view and record images from their cameras. I looked at their results and much like the WVC80N I got multiple images. Any suggestions for me in the setup? Oh and I downloaded 2.2.3 as well yesterday.

iCam Support / Pop-up messages

I have noticed this for some time, but just now thought of reporting it. When I have iCam open and viewing the View Motion Events, if a pop up message appears for say CNN, Sports Center or API, the screen then reverts to split out with the titles of each camera. The Motion events are still there and can be selected. You just see a ghost background of the titles of the cameras. I have 6 cameras setup and so it divides the screen into the six quadrants. When viewing the motion camera images the six quadrants are still there with the camera titles. It just a little annoying. I can send some pictures of what it looks like if you wish.
