iCam Pro Support / iPhone good. Wi-fi iPad, not so good
« on: August 29, 2017, 04:32:44 PM »
I'm getting the "no lan sources" found messages on my wi-fi only iPad.  Same wireless network, passwords match, purchased the lifetime $10  plan... what am I missing?  My iPhone picks up the cams on wireless and Verizon just fine.  Thanks.

iCam Support / My family just got hacked.

We have iZon cams as well... but our family just got hacked with our iCam.  All of a sudden, we watched the camera move around, heard vulgar comments coming through it, etc.  The icam app has been great but when you have 5 and 9 year old daughters hearing the crap they heard... it's a horrible, horrible app.  I've been 100% on board up until tonight.  Going forward, I'm disabling this iCam stuff altogether.  For the record, our wireless password has the following characters... XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.  And our world just got changed.  No possible way a hacker could've guessed our password.  There's a backdoor way for hackers via iCam. As a dad, I'm pissed that I ever trusted them.  I'm working with a local policeman as we speak to determine what course of action I can take.

Yes, wireless seems to be fine unless I cut IPCam on in addition to my regular webcams run through icamsource.

ipCam Support / Ip cam and router
« on: July 24, 2012, 10:05:10 AM »
Im running a Mac with a USB cam running on icam as well as an iPod touch cam and an iPhone 4 cam running on ipcam.  I also have an xp running with 2 USB cams through icam. Since installing ipcam I'm having to restart my router almost daily.  Could it be related or just coincidence?  Before I dig too deep, I just wanted to pose the question.  Thanks.
