:)  Thanks - I went back and found a note from SKJM support that they are working on a web browser view for iCam Source Pro - no estimate when we can expect it.

On another matter, have you figured out how to "control" cameras using the iOS iCam Pro client.  With iCam iOS clients, we were able "swipe" to move FOSCAM webcams (if so equipped).

Thanks!

iCam Pro Support / Camera "Control" with iCam Pro
« on: December 17, 2014, 07:53:29 AM »
I used to be able to remotely control my FOSCAM cameras with iCam before upgrading to iCam Source Pro.  I note that the extensions that I use to access the cameras in iCam Source was "video.cgi" and that MJPEG was checked.  In iCam Source Pro, in order to "see" the cameras, I apparently have to use an extension of "snapshot.cgi" but the finger swipes to remotely move the cameras no longer work.  Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks!

iCam Pro Support / URL to View iCam Pro via Web Browser
« on: December 17, 2014, 06:18:41 AM »
I've been a longtime iCam Source and iCam (iOS) user;  I also keep a webpage open on my internal network tuned to the SKJM iCamWebBETA URL (requires Java, works ok on latest Mac/Safari software).

I've upgraded to iCam Pro and I'm trying to figure out if there is an iCamPROWebBeta so I can see the cameras in Safari - I'd appreciate any feedback in case I missed this.

Thanks!

iCam Support / Re: ICAM SOURCE ON Yosemite

Solved, and I feel stupid.
Apparently, upgrading to Yosemite automatically puts your system to sleep after 15 minutes or so (or I inadvertently set it that way!). I thought that the screen was kicking in.  All is back to normal!

iCam Support / ICAM SOURCE ON Yosemite
« on: November 01, 2014, 04:12:04 AM »
Ever since upgrade to Yosemite and latest version of icam source for Mac, everything works great for random amounts of time and then "No sources found".  Upon going back to the Mac, only stopping and starting icam source gets rid of the message (temporarily).  Help!

iCam Pro Support / iCamWebPro?
« on: October 19, 2014, 05:07:39 AM »
Folks - I have been using iCam Source (and iCam on my iOS devices) for years, and my wife uses  iCamWeb to view our cameras in the kitchen in Safari with Java.  When I upgraded to Yosemite, I also upgraded to iCamPro and was wondering if there is a iCamWebPro in the works? Just want a way to see my cameras on a Mac like  I used to do with iCamWeb.  Thanks.

OUAnthony - thanks for your help on reseting the iCam Source preference - I started with a clean copy on another Mac, and added the cameras one at a time, and the motion/recording for the FI8919W now works.  THANK YOU!

I'll try to reset the Icam Source preferences, although my other two FOSCAMs are working great and recording motion.  On the new FI8919W, however, the green motion light on the iCam client never comes on (although the motion light area sometimes looks like there is a small speaker inside of the dot).

Thanks!

 :(
New FI8919W works great with iCam Source except for one thing - no motion detection.  Anybody have the same problem?

Update - checked auto config router and all is well.  Thanks!

OK, we have two iPhones in our household, one on AT&T (iPhone 4), and one on Verizon (iPhone 4S).

iCam works great on both with WiFi as well as the Verizon 3G network, but never connects on the AT&T 3G network any more (it used to connect until the end of June, 2012).  My IP address on the AT&T 3G Network starts with "166" and I live in Putnam County, NY (10512).

Help!

Problem solved!   It was the latest Apple Mac Java Update (for all browsers, Safari and Firefox).  Apparently the latest update requires you to "Allow Interactive Plugins" the next time you use them, and then close/reopen the browser.  I discovered this when another website popped up the message "Interactive Plugin Required ->" and when I clicked on it, it changed the setting and had me restart the browser.  Now works AOK.  Note that the SKJM.com/icam/web/ did not show this message until today.  Anyway, all is well.  Thanks for a great system!

iCam Support / Re: iCam Web stops streaming

Did this just happening?  I too can see the cameras connected to iCam Source on iOS and W7/IE9, but no longer on Mac Safari/FF.  I think it may have to to with a recent Java upgrade/update.

Downloaded latest Java update on my Mac browsers and the web view of SKJM.com/icam no longer works (although the iCam source is running OK on a Mac and I can see the cameras fine on iOS and IE 9/W7 platforms.  Short of going back to a previous version of Java for Mac OS X.71, anything anyone can suggest?  I used to run a Safari Window on a Mac in the Kitchen (used as a TV with EyeTV) so that one outside camera is viewable in the browser window - but now, unless I use the same Kitchen Mac to run iCam Source, can't see any cameras in the browser (message says connecting but never does).  Worked great until  a few days ago!

Thanks.
