iCam Pro Support / Apple Watch - No Camera Alerts
« on: July 30, 2019, 10:11:02 AM »
I started receiving Camera Alerts on my Apple Watch. What I receive in sequence is: No Camera Alerts...Loading Camera...No Camera Alerts.
My iCamSourcePro Version is 1.3.1.1 (Windows 10) with Notification Threshold of 3, Record Minumum of 2.
iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 12.4 - Watch OS 5.3

It appears the loss of images (thumbs) occurred after the Watch OS 5.3 upgrade?

iCam Pro Support / iCam Source Pro V1.2 Mic Problem
« on: September 23, 2015, 10:06:53 PM »
Like "geezfools," post; when I press the microphone on any of my iOS devices (iOS 9.0), iCamSource Pro V1.2 immediately "stops working."

With V1.1, I could press the microphone on my iOS devices; but of course nothing happened.  Including iCamSource did NOT crash.

Not sure if the problem is iCamSource Pro V1.2 or the iOS 9.0 update.

iCam Pro Support / Viewing of recordings in iCamSourcePro
« on: January 25, 2015, 12:17:01 PM »
In iCamSourcePro, Detection Tab, "VIEW" I see all my folders where images are stored.

Some folders contain files; but no images (that I can view).  Files shown have the following suffix:
.nfo, .raw, .hdr .key

Since there appears to be no information for me, is it safe for me to delete those files and folders?

Thanks

iCam Pro Support / New Camera - Gray Preferences View
« on: November 26, 2014, 11:06:08 PM »
Due to an enormous amount of blowing rain, I had to replace one of my IP cameras.  After setting up the camera, running iCamSource Pro, I only "see" a gray screen in the preferences window ("connected to server," other cameras show correctly, no "errors" show).

I clicked on the "URL" link in the preferences; which suggested trying "snapshot.cgi" instead of "video.cgi."  Changing to snapshot did bring my camera view back in the preferences preview and iCamPro.  Sadly of course I lose audio using the snapshot setting.

Looking back at my camera, I discovered it only has "VGA" and "QVGA" resolution settings (instead of 320x240 etc.). So it would appear iCamSource Pro (video.cgi) does not know how to interpret the data from the new camera.

HELP!  Audio is important in that monitored area.

Camera is a WANSVIEW, "L" series.  The "B" series cameras work fine.

iCam Pro Support / iCamPro - Connection Closed - No Sources Found
« on: November 16, 2014, 09:20:31 PM »
Since the iCamSourcePro update to v. 1.0.3 (windows 7) my cameras shown in iCamPro seem to sequentially close with the message "Connection Closed,"  as if I stopped the broadcast.  Once all my cameras (three) show the connection closed (in iCamPro) I receive the "No Sources Found" error.

Returning to iCamSourcePro, the preview pane indicates "connected to server" and all cameras are shown in the preview window.

If I refresh iCamPro before the "connection closed" for all three cameras appears, the "closed" cameras reappear.  However if all three cameras show the "connection closed" message, a refresh results in No Sources Found.

Even though iCamSourcePro indicates connected to server, and previews all three cameras, the only way to get my cameras to reappear in iCamPro, is to STOP and START iCamSourcePro.

If needed, I sent my IP address via separate email (same subject)

iCam Pro Support / iCamSourcePro.exe Stopped Working
« on: October 03, 2014, 08:51:46 AM »
***New Info Added***

System: Windows 7 Home Premium
iCamSourcePro: v1.0.2

Launching iCamSourcePro, the "Preferences Window" shows normally with 3 IP cameras and correct information.
Selecting "Start" the preference window indicates "Connected to Server;" however immediately results in the subject error.

Actions:
Rebooted Computer: Same Error Result
Uninstalled/Reinstalled iCamSource Pro: Same Error Result.

I have been using iCamSourcePro for a few months now, this error appeared last night.

I reverted back to the older iCamSource, and everything loads and functions properly.

Afterthought: I was watching a recorded program through DirecTV's Genie-Go, and received "GenieGo Stopped Working" error (before I was aware iCamSourcePro stopped working).

I ran the Clean Registry Key program, but re-launching iCamSourcePro, all my original settings were still present.
I'm guessing there are different versions for iCamSource and iCamSourcePro?

***I removed ALL IP Cameras then added them back one at a time.***
Everything worked until I added a third IP Camera.  The subject error returned.
Removed the third camera, things worked normally.
Added ipCam, all worked normally.  Added internal webcam, things work normally.
Added address for original IP camera back, subject error returned.

I know the camera and IP address, port, etc are working as I can access the camera through iCamSource (old version) and other monitor programs.  It appears iCamSourcePro has locked the address out.

Thanks In Advance!

iCam Pro Support / iCam Pro/iCam Source Pro - Outstanding!
« on: July 31, 2014, 09:05:31 AM »
You all did a mahvolous upgrade with  the Pro version.

Favorites:
Recording Sound too (love it).
Red Button:  I can STOP recording of a motion event (if it's nothing); or START recording on my own whim.
Motion Event Zones:  I no longer have to wait to adjust zones after I get home.

Excellent improvements & Thank You for the FREE iPhone App upgrade from iCam to iCam Pro!

iSpy Support / Frozen Image
« on: July 07, 2013, 06:15:17 AM »
The "North Myrtle Beach Live Web Cam" freezes when viewing full-screen, on my iPhone.  The thumbnail view motion is normal.  I had thought it was the camera feed causing the problem; however, now I'm jealous!  This particular camera plays perfectly on my gooder-half's Kindle Fire HD.

iCam Support / iCam/iCamSource Feature Wish List
« on: October 01, 2012, 10:43:17 AM »
While reviewing motion events, I had an "awe crap" moment.  I was a little too rambunctious with the thumb & finger swipe to delete events, and deleted an event I wanted to keep.

So!  I would like to see an iCam feature to "lock" events, so I don't accidentally delete them (remotely).  Should be easy (heh, heh), right swipe=delete, left swipe=lock.  Or, instead of events (and images) being removed from iCamSource folders, have them moved to the recycle bin, so I can correct MY mistakes.

I know I could save images on my iPhone; however, the event I accidentally deleted had 121 images.  I would still need to transfer from my phone back to an appropriate folder on the computer.

In addition, for iCamSource I would like to see a checkbox "[]" option for the "camera list," so I can enter camera information once, and decide which camera I want iCamSource to access at any given time.

For example:  I have a really good day-time camera (watches driveway) and night-vision camera (watches garage).   At this time, I cannot input the information for both cameras, and have only one of them "operating," in iCamSource.  So, I have to remove the camera (from the list) I do not want to use at any given time, and input the camera information I do.

It would make it easier for ME (me, me, me) if a camera selection check box was added.

Thanks!

The phone company (DSL), has been working on lines the past couple of weeks (beyond your control - darn it).  Because of frequent interupts, I had to assign LAN addresses in my router (to avoid re-designating port forwarding) for two computers running iCamSource.  After resetting my modem, and router (getting internet back), I experience the following:
1) I read on another post, iCamSource will restart, after loss of the connection.  I guess that is fact, because on both computers iCamSource indicates it IS connected to the server (source images available too).  That means iCamSource is functioning properly?
2) Running iCamWeb on a 3rd computer, I realize I need to restart (refresh) my browser.  However, when I do that, below where the images would be, it displays the proper number of sources (number of running iCamSource/cameras) but does not display the images.  About 10 to 15 seconds later, I receive pop-up messages, indicating the server could not be connected to for each camera.
3) Using iCam, I receive push notices indicating motion; however when trying to view the images, I then receive the Broker error messages where my cameras could not be connected to.  I get a little confused, when I cannot connect to a camera, that the "notice" was sent from through iCamSource.

I've been using BETA 2.4.4 for awhile now, and I think it's great!  I know my issues are relative to the loss of internet, and "reconnecting."  Even though I solve my own problems by stopping and restarting iCamSource; I remain confused that iCamSource (both computers) indicate they are connected to the server, yet iCam and iCamWeb cannot locate them before I stop and restart them.

What's My IP: Sent via email

iCam Support / New Feature -> No Broadcast
« on: April 15, 2012, 05:28:41 PM »
We are making plans to move to a house in the country.  Currently, there is no internet, Edge, or 3-G networks available.  Still, I would like to use iCamSource to "keep an eye" on that residence by recording motions events without attempting to connect to a network.

This would allow me to review the recorded events in iCamSource; without the need to watch them "live."  A simple (hehe), check box to start iCamSource without the broadcast.  Implying I know I do not have a connection; but record the events anyway.  I know I would not receive any notifications of motion; however, "if" something was amiss when we were there, we could review the events on iCamSource while there.

Thanks for consideration!
