iCam Pro Support / Re: Remove proxy pop up in next release please
« on: March 15, 2016, 03:47:35 AM »
Same here, everything works fine but the proxy request pop ups show up frequently without reason.

So yes, please give as an option to disable dialog boxes (you could call it "Expert Mode" or "Silent Mode").

*** 17.03.2016: Problem solved, no more unnecessary pop ups here (my fault, wrong router settings). ***

iCam Support / Feature Request: on / off switch for cams
« on: March 08, 2012, 03:25:27 AM »
I have four cams installed, two outdoors and two indoors. Coming home from work, it would be nice, to switch off just the indoor cams. Is it possible to integrate something like a switch "enable / disable cam", so that the user can easily decide which camera is on and which is off?

Just a suggestion, thx for answers in advance!

Thx to aen333 for posting this. Nice idea to use Dropbox with iCam, it indeed works great.

Here is my referral code, useful to get additional space on top of the 2Gb they give you free:

Thanks to anyone who uses it!

Log in to the cam and check the settings of your cam. Maybe you have "Go center on boot" enabled (should be in the Fields PTZ, I guess), so the cam would tilt up now and then ...

I donĀ“t think there is an option to turn the IR lights permanently off. Maybe a firmware update will add this option. Another thing to add could be a timestamp in the pics shown by iCam ...

Two Foscams FI8918W working fine for me, both PoE (Power over Ethernet).

Would be great to be able to define presets (Pan/Tilt) and toggle IR on/off via iCam.

Thanks so far, I already made an optional contribution.
