Title: Looking for suggestions on hardware
Post by: member_456 on January 17, 2015, 11:07:09 PM
Hey all,

I'll be heading on a short vacation soon and I was looking to setup a wireless IP cam or two around my condo. I have successfully used iCam with a wired webcam on a previous trip out of town. I had all motion detection shots saved to my dropbox folder and it was great.

However, one of the cats chewed on that camera wire and I'm looking to go wireless now. I'm looking for suggestions on what's the best out there and ideally something that connects rather easily. However if the setup is a little more involved, I'm ok with that. (I work in IT). I just need it to work properly and hopefully something that is tried and tested by the majority of folks here.

Thanks a ton.

iCam/iCam Pro  supports Built-In, FireWire or USB Webcams and DV Cameras as well as select MJPEG-compatible Network IP Cameras.

We discuss the cameras we’ve tested with on our forum at: http://skjm.com/forum/index.php?topic=908.0

Please note that the Airlink cameras advertised as "Windows Only" are Mac compatible and can easily be setup using or App IP Cam Config instead of the provided Windows install disc. - http://skjm.com/ipcamconfig/

Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.
