Anyone use these higher Res cams over the FI8905W cameras? This is. 1.3 960p H.264 camera
I want to use iCam along with the Blue Iris. I know Blue Iris will work, but will iCam?
Thx.

Support for H.264 has been requested in the past and is currently on our list of potential features to implement in the future.
-
Is there a timeframe or scheduled date?
-
Unfortunately, we do not have any immediate plans to support H.264.
-
Instead of using the h.264 stream, could the JPEG be used?
The FI9805w can do a jpeg snapshot with a URL like:
http://192.168.1.1:999/cgi-bin/CGIProxy.fcgi?cmd=snapPicture&usr=admin&pwd=admin
I've tested the URL in Safari and it does work.
So, I put the URL into iCamSource and selected JPEG stream instead of MJPEG, but it still did NOT work.
Am I missing something?

You can try our MJPEG JPEG URL Test page, although it is currently in its very preliminary stages, and that is: http://skjm.com/icam/mjpeg_test.php (http://skjm.com/icam/mjpeg_test.php)
When you enter the camera’s IP address and port into that web page, it will attempt to connect to the camera using all of the common MJPEG and JPEG URLs that we are aware of. If any of the URLs produce an image, then that is the URL to use in iCamSource.
If your camera requires a login and password, you can enter them in that webpage right before the address: login:password@Camera_address

Thanks. I will give it a try.
